Hannah's Hope Fund

Charles Spencer Staff and Students would like to thank each and every person who took the time to vote for the Hannah's Hope during the Pepsi Challenge. Because you cared, $250,000 will be given to find a treatment for GAN. Lottyn Bates, one of our beloved fifth grade students, will benefit from this research.

Summer Reading:

Thanks to each staff, student, and friend who took the time to read and take AR tests during the summer of 2010. Our school participants passed 1,682 AR tests and earned 5,114 points. We had 185 participants. Charles Spencer was awarded a check from the Tift County Foundation for Educational Excellence for $873. This money will be used to purchase books and AR tests for the media center. Thank you TCFEE for all you do for our schools!!

Summer AR check PJ Kemeness presents Principal Mickey Weldon with a check for $873 from the TCFEE for Spencer's summer AR reading.

Fund Raising Projects:

Please bring your Box Tops for Education and Campbell soup labels to Mrs. Nalls in the media center and help us earn money for books, AR tests, and AR incentives. A child gets an item from the treat box for every 25 box tops with a valid expiration date.

Please bring all Harvey's receipts to Mrs. Bridges in the gym. She will use the money earned from these to help purchase P.E. equipment.

Charles Spencer students will not receive midquarters for this first 9 weeks. Parents, please contact your child's teacher if you have any concerns about grades.
