Teacher of the Year

Congratulations to May Choate for being selected Charles Spencer's Teacher of the Year for the 2010-2011 school year! Mrs. Choate is a veteran teacher of 32 years with teaching experience in both Florida (15 years) and Georgia 17 years). Mrs. Choate began her teaching career at Omega Elementary in December of 1971. May has been an Inclusion teacher at Charles Spencer for the last five years where she is respected and loved by both students and staff.

Mrs. Cele Bullard, 5th grade teacher, and Mrs. Terri Nalls, media specialist were tapped by the Tift County Foundation for Educational Excellence to receive the Excellence in Teaching Award. This is a very high honor for every teacher selected.
