Absence from school without the knowledge and permission of your parents is considered as truancy. Unauthorized absence from class may also be considered as truancy. Parents will be called in if truancy is suspected. A referral to the visiting teacher will be made; and a referral to the juvenile court may be necessary. Law officials will be contacted if you leave campus without permission.
