J.T. Reddick is Growing and Changing
The Board of Education approved a renovation plan of over $4 million for J.T. Reddick. Parts of the plan will include four additional classrooms, new metal roofing on all wings, new tile floors throughout the building,a renovated kitchen and cafeteria, a new drop off/pickup area for car riders, new energy efficient windows and heating/ cooling units, along with landscaping.

J.T. Reddick Elementary School is continuing to grow and change around our campus. As our campus takes on a new facade, our teachers and students are busy at work.

The three participants will attend the GMEA Statewide Event February 6th and 7th, 2009 at Clayton State University where they will perform with 500 students from the state of Georgia. They will be split into two choirs of about 250 students each and perform five selections. The students had to audition for the three spots given to each school in the state. The requirements were for them to sing individually a major scale by numbers and solfege, a chromatic scale by numbers and solfege, to sing a prepared solo and to perform a sight-singing selection.
All six students pictured will combine with six other students from Omega Elementary School and perform a special selection during the Tift County’s 6th Grade Elementary Concert Friday, December 5th at 7PM at the Performing Arts Center.

Report Card Highlights
- Met Adequate Yearly Progress criteria in 11 out of 11 areas.
- 92% of 6th graders met or exceeded standards on the English Language Arts CRCT.
