Character Education

At J.T. Reddick we are working hard to make sure that every child grows socially, physically, and emotionally.  To encourage the mental growth of your child/children Mrs. Hill is coming into every classroom several times a year to work  with them using a program called Second Step.  During her visits Mrs. Hill guides the children in the skills that they need in their lives to interact with their peers.  The students share views and thoughts that they have experienced, and Mrs. Hill encourages them to solve problems in a productive manner.  Mrs. Hill will add to their prior knowledge with the wisdom and training she has received via her time as a counselor.  We would like you to take the time to talk with your child about the word below and inspire your child/children with the wisdom you have gained from previous experiences in your lifetime.  Together we can help every child be the best they can be inside and out.
