Reader of the Year Winners Announced

Len Lastinger is proud to announce the Readers of the Year. The winners were honored by the TRA at a banquet. Winners are:

K - Haven Bullington

1st Grade - Abigail Stone

2nd Grade - Jamaya Burns

3rd Grade - Caroline Sullivan

The overall school winner was Jamaya Burns. Congratulations girls, Len Lastinger is proud of you!

FIELD DAY

Len Lastinger's Field Day was a HUGE success! Many thanks to Coach Guzman and all of the staff that helped make field day SO much fun! Special thanks also goes out to our wonderful parents who came out to volunteer and support our children!

Relay For Life Talent Show

Once again, it was a packed house at Len Lastinger's Annual Relay for Life Talent Show. A special thanks goes out to Ms. Shannon Polch for coordinating with the help of NUMEROUS volunteers! Highlights of the talent show were a performace by Dr. Ezekiel, Mrs. Norburg, Mrs. Gibson, Ms. Milton, Mrs. Sullivan, Mrs. Chandler, and Coach Reed.

Teacher of the Year

Congratulations to Ms. Dana Gibson, Len Lastinger's Teacher of the Year! Ms. Gibson is the GATE Resource teacher at Len Lastinger Primary! We are proud of you!

Gate Students Take School Back in Time

Ms. Dana Gibson's GATE Resourse classes took the entire school on a trip back in time to visit the dinosaurs. Students were led by tour guides giving facts and information about the different time periods and species of dinosaurs. Money raised from ticket sales goes towards helping Haiti earthquake victims.

Third Grade Students Participate in S'more Science Fair

Len Lastinger third graders kicked off a heat and energy unit Friday with a S'more Science Fair. Each student visited six different stations and participated in activities that helped them learn more about heat and energy. To view more photos from the Science Fair, click here.
