Early Registration for new K-3 students
Annie Belle Clark will hold early registration for new K-3 students on July 30, 2010 from 8:30 to 11:30 and from 1:30 - 3:30. Parents and legal guardians are the only people that can register a child for school.
We need the following documents in order for you to register your child:
- Certificate of Immunization
- Eye, Ear and Dental Form
- Birth Certificate
- Social Security Card
- You must proide two documents for proof of residency. Proof of residency forms must be in the name of the parent or legal guardian or you will have to get an additional form from the school to fill out.
- One must be:
- If you own your home - deed, mortgage statement, property tax statement
- If you rent your home - signed rental agreement
- Second must be:
- Any type of service that connects to home such as utility bill, water bill, or cable bill.
- One must be:

Dancing Drum
Annie Belle Clark students have had the priviledge of attending a Dancing Drum session during their regular Music time. Steve Campbell and Lindsay Rust have been working on character rhythms and raps using hip-hop music, drumming and dancing. Everyone has had a great time and looks forward to ending the year with a school-wide performance!

Annie Belle Clark's 2010 Readers of the Year are Jerry Taylor (kindergarten), Meagan Taylor (2nd grade), Savannah Burns (1st grade), and Abbi Toews (3rd grade).

Author and Illustrator Pam Alexander visits Annie Belle Clark. She is the author and illustrator of Jeremiah Makes History HOP. She is also the illustrator of the "Yumion" series.
Book Character Parade

Annie Belle Clark celebrated reading by participating in a school-wide parade in honor of "Read Across America Day". Students dressed up as characters from their favorite stories. Students also participated in many activies to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday. Pictured are characters from Fancy Nancy and Green Eggs and Ham.

The Governor's Office of Student Achievement recently recognized Annie Belle Clark as a Gold Award Winner for Outstanding Student Achievement.

Perfect Attendance Bike Winner

Chandler Mullis ,second grader, was presented with a bike and helmet from CiCi's Pizza by Chris Huggins for 3rd Nine Weeks Perfect Attendance.

Perfect Attendance Awards
Students at Annie Belle Clark are rewarded often for perfect attendance. Each month students with perfect attendance are rewarded with different prizes ranging from pencils, ice cream, bookmarks, etc. At the end of the nine weeks, students with perfect attendance receive a coupon from Papa John’s for a free personal pizza. These students are then entered into a drawing for a bicycle and helmet donated by Cici’s Pizza through their BIKE program (Building Incentives for Kid’s Education).

Box Tops for Education
Last year our school raised $571.00. Please continue to collect Box Tops for Education. Also, we are now collecting Soup Labels for Education. The class that turns in the most will be rewarded with a treat from PTO.
